Southpace would like to welcome our newest Associate Broker, Elbert Boothby to the team! Elbert specializes in office, medical and retail landlord and tenant representation. He brings with him experience in commercial brokerage, property management, and finances, which enables him to see the multiple angles of a transaction. Additionally, his vast experience in multifamily and Home Owners’ Association (HOA) management gives Elbert a unique ability to Planned Unit Development (PUD) or diverse property type from various perspectives.
Elbert holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), and the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designations. He has served on several committees with the Association of Realtors. Elbert has also been a member of the Community Associate Institute (CAI) International Board of Trustees, as well as a past CAI Alabama Chapter President (2010) and an CAI National Rising Star (2012). Additionally, Elbert has served on the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Alabama Chapter Board of Directors from 2008 to 2014 and served as Chapter President in 2011. He was also recognized by IREM as the CPM of the Year in 2008. He was a member of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Board of Directors from 1998 to 200. Elbert has also been recognized as a Lifetime Member of the Birmingham Commercial Million Dollar Sales Club and a “Top 40 Under 40” by the Birmingham Business Journal.
