We’re proud to announce that Southpace Properties Principal John Lauriello, CCIM was recently honored with a named endowment scholarship from the Alabama Chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute.
What will now be known as the John Lauriello Scholarship Award will provide $1,000 tuition assistance for a core class to an Alabama CCIM chapter member. A recipient of the scholarship will be awarded annually and must be a current chapter member in good standing.
The first recipient of the John Lauriello Scholarship Award will be announced at the Birmingham Market Symposium in November 2014. We can’t wait to see who this deserving individual will be.
The Alabama CCIM chapter currently has six named endowment scholarships, which is more than any other chapter in the institute. This also means that John Lauriello isn’t the only member connected to Southpace to receive this award. Bill Moss, CCIM, an associate broker at Southpace, was honored in 2008 with the Bill Moss Scholarship Award, which is given annually to a University of South Alabama student.
